A Generous Community

The mission of Saint Joseph Parish and Schools is greatly assisted through the involvement of active, dedicated individuals in the life of the Parish. Financial gifts so generously made to our weekly Offertory, the Parish Grand Annual Appeal, the school’s Annual Fund and our other fundraisers allow many good things to happen for our Parish community. Like all Parishes, we depend on this generosity to keep our programs strong for future generations.

Our community event fundraisers, such as the traditional Christmas Bazaar, biennial Auction, and annual Golf Tournament bring people together for a good cause and to simply have fun!

We are deeply grateful to our Parishioners for all you do through your volunteerism and financial support.

Weekly Offertory Giving Options

Parishioners have three options for their convenience in supporting the weekly Offertory. Thank you for helping the Parish meet its financial obligations throughout the year!

Traditional Weekly Offertory Envelopes. Please contact Rosanne Timmerman, Business Manager, at the Rectory to be placed on our mailing list. 781-444-0245; rtimmerman@saintjoes.com

Electronic Giving. You can set up an account through the Parish to have a predetermined monthly amount withdrawn from your checking or savings account that will automatically be deposited into the Parish Offertory. Transactions are made on the 15th of each month. To put this into place, please contact Rosanne Timmerman. 781-444-0245; rtimmerman@saintjoes.com

Online Banking. If you do online banking for your other household expenses, simply do the same for the Parish Offertory! Set up a repeating payment on a weekly or monthly basis for Saint Joseph Parish, 1382 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492.

Saint Joseph Parish “Giving Seasons”

We hope the following outline helps you with planning and budgeting both your time and charitable gifts. We are a vibrant Parish – there is always something going on!

Late September through December
Parish Grand Annual. This supports the entire Parish – liturgies and ministries, schools, religious education programs, church facilities, and more!

Late January through April
Student Teacher Advancement Fund (STEP). This supports both schools.

May to September
Catholic Appeal. This supports the ministries of the Boston Archdiocese

Every 2 Years in the Spring Biennial Auction.
This Parish Gala supports the entire Parish, including our two schools. It overlaps both the Grand Annual and STEP due to fundraising efforts which kick off in the mid-Fall aimed at underwriting, donations, and advertising.
