| Basketball League Saint Joseph Parish hosts a town-wide Needham basketball league for youths in Grades 5-8 during the winter months. The League is open to all Needham youth (not just Parishioners). It is an intramural sport – there are no tryouts. Visit the league website at www.stjoesintownhoop.com. Relay for Life Each year teens from Saint Joseph Parish form and join teams to participate in Needham’s Relay for Life which raises money for cancer research. For more information on the upcoming Relay for Life, check out their website. Youth Circle The Saint Joseph Parish youth group has hosted several events over the last few years for teens. Youth Teaming With Justice & Peace Committee Our youth will join forces with the Justice & Peace Committee to work on our long-standing Parish service programs, including the Jesse Tree, St. Francis House and Haitian Mission collections. This joint effort will provide our young people with invaluable lessons of reaching out to those who are less fortunate, and also fulfill their Christian service hours.
